The 23rd annual Purchase Area Health Expo, hosted by Purchase Area Diabetes Connection, will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 9am-Noon at a new location: The Salvation Army Paducah Corps (2990 Trimble Street, Paducah).
The health fair will include free health screenings, healthy recipes, fun activities for all ages, and educational information from community partners. Free flu shots will be provided by Mercy Health. Free health screenings include A1C readings, fall risk assessment, HIV screening, blood sugar, blood pressure, and more. There will be free recipe samplings. Attendees can come-and-go between the times of 9am and noon.
Sponsors include Wellcare, Baptist Health, Mercy Health, McCracken County Cooperative Extension, Anthem Medicaid, Purchase District Health Department, and Graves County Health Department.
