Join Local and Family History staff, Kristen and Nathan, as they discuss the unique challenges the descendants of emancipated slaves face when tracing their past and family tree. Included will be information on available online databases, including Ancestry and MyHeritage; the library's digital collection; and books available in local history that compile county records. Handouts will be made available for take home.
