This Spooky Spotlight on Bats in Kentucky will be led by Jordan Tandy, Naturalist Woodlands Nature Station Land Between The Lakes.

Tis the season for. . . bats!

Dive into the world of these not so spooky critters and discover the benefits of bats as well as tips and tricks for attracting these critters to your own back yard.  Join Woodlands Nature Station naturalist Jordan Tandy to learn about the important role bats play in our local ecosystem!

As a naturalist at the Woodlands Nature Station, Jordan Tandy works to educate the public on the natural history of Kentucky.  Located in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, the Nature Station is home to over 50 species of rescued native wildlife and a backyard habitat that includes native gardens and several active bat houses. Prior to working at the Nature Station Jordan was a bat technician for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries where she collected information on bat colonies throughout the state.
