Event Details
Paducah Cooperative Ministry and The McCracken County Public Library will be honoring those who have passed locally without a home. Since 1990, The National Coalition for the Homeless has sponsored National Homeless Persons Memorial Day every year on December 21–the first day of winter and the longest night of the year—to bring attention to the tragedy of homelessness and to remember those that have passed without permanent residence.
Moment of Silence
The candles during the moment of silence represent hope. Hope for a better future when it comes to Homelessness. Hope that the ones who have passed are in a better place. Hope that those who are currently homeless can find the help they need to overcome. Join us and support ending homelessness.
