With naturalist Shannon Brockway.
From eagles to hummingbirds, birds are truly amazing creatures! Whether at home by a window or on an outdoor adventure, bird watching can be a rewarding hobby. Join a naturalist from the Woodlands Nature Station to learn more about bird watching. Learn how to identify some of the common feeder birds in our area, how to attract them to your yard, as well as a few great locations for a beginner bird watcher to check out!
Shannon Brockway has been a naturalist at the Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes for the past 5 years where she maintains native plant gardens, conducts breeding bird surveys, and tries to keep up with the 200+ hummingbirds that visit the Nature Station every day in the summer.
