Are you looking for new books to read this summer? Are you eager to talk about some of your favorite books with other readers? Come to our book club! Beginning Monday, June 6 the library will have a tween/teen book club from 1-2 pm. We will be reading and discussing our favorite books and chatting with authors Kathleen Duey and Jessica Burkhart on Skype! And if that doesn’t sound fun, we’ll also have snacks, activities and free books at each session!

Jessica Burkhart is the author of the popular juvenile series Canterwood Crest. The series follows a group of equestrian girls at Canterwood Crest Academy as they learn more about life, horses, friendships and boys. Ms. Burkhart will be joining us on Monday, June 27 from 1-2 pm. Don’t miss this awesome chance to talk to one of today’s most popular young authors!
Kathleen Duey is the author of several juvenile and young adult books. Her latest juvenile series is called Faeries’ Promise, and she has won awards for her young adult fiction series Resurrection of Magic. Ms. Duey is scheduled to chat with us on Monday, July 11 from 1-2 pm. Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to talk with such a talented writer!
